I nearly wet my self with excitement when Brian opened a box of records this week to reveal some copies of PRURIENT's self titled LP on Ann Arbor's excellent Hanson label. This is extreme violent noise.  Primal screams into overloaded amps drenched in effects to produce immense walls of brutal, aggressive and at times painful noise. What more do want eh? It sounds like the stereo is about to explode and the apocalypse about to begin. Excellent noise / feedback/ power electronics gear and with lyrics like "I saw you and became empty" screamed into an unrecognizable oblivion you know you're in for a dark listening experience. Dominik Fernow is possibly one of the few current musicians that can give Keiji Haino a run for his money as far as pure conviction and power is concerned. A mans soul laid bare indeed. I like to imagine he was wearing his special glove (the one he wears live) when he made this record. He sounds like such an angry man. Bless him. In deluxe black on black screen printed sleeves with insert.  This will tear you a new........

Quite possibly the most intense release HANSON has unveiled yet. Truly BRUTAL 2001 recordings from Dominick Fernow via the same sessions that spawned his track for the killer AT THE END OF THE ROPE compilation. Cryptic lyrics shouted out in extreme pain over two sides of ear splitting feedback cutting crudely thru heavy pummeling static and hiss. For fans of the perverse noise & power electronics of Sutcliffe Jugend, Skin Crime, and Mangled Clit. Includes 11x 17 insert, and housed in a slick grey and black silkscreened cardstock jacket featuring the usual HANSON outer 'droll flaps.' Limited to 500 copies.
