What on earth Warp are playing at releasing !!! (CHK CHK CHK) is a cocking mystery to me. Whorra load of crap..... it sounds just like the fucking Shamen. Seriously. Buy some Shamen records... They did it first and they did it better....and they pissed off the BBC after singing about pills on Top of The Pops. In essence Heart of Hearts is a load of sub disco punk funk toss. However Brian reckons this tune isn't too bad and it's quite catchy.... As is bird flu so perhaps he should get a job at Bernard Matthews???? (I noticed all the BM stuff was half price last week in the supermarket...). One positive thing I wills ay about it is that's it's a very nice picture disc though with the non music side being a rather fetching picture of some monkeys. I'm not convinced‘Heart Of Hearts’ is the hedonistic, punk funk wig out of a tune taken from !!!’s blinding new album, ‘Myth Takes’. ‘Heart Of Hearts’ will be released on a very limited edition 12” picture disc. It displays a mind bending psychedelic !!! logo on one side with a sneak preview of some of the most fantastic album artwork seen in years. It was ‘On The Stereo’ at NME immediately, described as a “disco funk treat for our ears” and Pitchfork awarded it 4.5/5 calling it “a mighty six-minute tsunami” and “an unstoppable juggernaut”.
