FlyKKiller - FlyKKiller EP

FlyKKiller EP by FlyKKiller

The Flykkiller institute Poland, a former Soviet research laboratory from which the results of the Flykkiller project have just been released. FlyKKiller are : Stephen Hilton, the musical partner of David Holmes, co producer of The Free Association, and the beats behind many of the soundtracks of  recent Hollywood hit movies. Pati Yang is one of Poland's most exciting electronic artists; a beguiling beauty whose siren-esque tones and joy of experimentation in music & the arts have earned her artistic acclaim as well as stadium tour support for Depeche Mode. Pati's dreams of bio mechanical blue prints and astronomical co-ordinates have resulted in a major change in her disposition,  she adopted a persona of 'The Fly', a sedate yet imposing beast, spindly limbs clad in sleek black fabric and a birds nest beehive of hair coiling into the heavens.  Musically and visually, her subject matter is fear. How darkness and confusion around those things we can’t comprehend begin with fear but ultimately give way to light, clarity and depth of perception if we take time to study the detail. Stephen's pedigree in production holds no bounds. Cinematic effects drip from tracks written with the kind of playful confidence which comes from such a wealth of experience. To aptly recount the occurrences around the FlyKKiller institute he soundtracks a narrative line which starts here with our scene setter, the eponymous FlyKKiller, a simple introduction to set the mood to a story which is to become increasingly complex and illuminating. David Holmes graces the flip with his first dance floor remix in about a decade, stepping back in to the arena to get the facts straight and tell his side of the FlyKKiller story.
