Damo Suzuki & Now - The London Evening News

Not many live concerts are talked about nearly three years after the dust has settled.  This is one that still is!  In March 2004 Damo Suzuki & Now performed a spellbinding set that went from one musical peak to another.(Check the audience member at the end of the disc)!Damo Suzuki, a vital member of CAN in the '70's is on top form with his unique vocal stylings, sets the scene for the members of NOW to lay down their grooves which got the audience dancing if not literally, definitely in their minds. As part of Damo's 'Never Ending Tour' this London concert according to those in the know is one of the best.  NOW, whose 'Frisbee Hot Pot' CD released in 2005 was a critically acclaimed success sound as if they've known Damo for a long time & throughout the concert seem to spur him on to greater heights, till symbiosis is achieved & then some! Some sixty minutes are here & with great artwork, this concert will be talked about for even longer.  Damo & Now will certainly work together again as another concert is being arranged for spring 2007
