Pilote - Pop Will Make Us Free

Pilote release their long-awaited fourth long player, ‘Pop Will Make Us Free’ on Exalt Records in March 2007, having previously supplied the stand out track for the first Exalt Records release in 2003. Since forming in 1999 Pilote have notched up three albums and a number of singles and are best known for their work on Paul Arnold’s legendary Certificate 18 label.  Pilote are Stuart Cullen (full-time) and Richard Sands (part-time), who have been in Barcelona for the last few years refining their sound and are now back in the UK ready to drop their fourth album on Exalt Records. The sound of this new CD is deeply rooted in the rich tapestry of electronic music and comes with a heavy helping of pop sensibility and soul.  It will be preceded by the 7” single release ‘By the River / Coltrane’ at the end of January on Kennington Recordings. A tour to support this CD will coincide with the release date.
