What the label says:

Italian postpunk three piece Disco Drive, release their long-awaited debut UK single on Monday 26th February through Tough Love Records. “All About This” and “A Factory Of Minds”feature on the double A-side 7” single and will be strictly limited to just 500, hand-numbered copies.  The release of “All About This” follows three hugely successful European tours, including a well-received jaunt across the U.K. in the spring of 2006. Disco Drive’s support slots read like a who’s who of right now, having graced the same stage as the likes of Q and not U, The Long Blondes, Out Hud, The Organ and Hot Club de Paris. Building on the devoted following earnt through superb performances at established club nights such as Liars Club, Purr Live and Artrocker Club, Disco Drive embark on their second U.K. tour in February. Back in Italy, Disco Drive’s energetic and compelling live show has garnered a huge fanbase, playing to crowds of thousands at summer festivals. Their debut album What’s Wrong With You People (Unhip Records) is already into its third pressing, with the band collecting numerous accolades, including best Italian debut of 2005 alongside an MTV Best Live Act nomination. The band have already made an indelible impression in the U.K., having featured on a recent Artrocker cover CD and received airplay on both Xfm and Steve Lamacq’s Radio One show.

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
