What we say

Rating: happy This record left our Ant feeling happy.

The walls of the towers are literally bursting with audio candy so please take some off our hands before Brian disappears forever under a mountain of LONG BLONDES 7"'s and CD's . Oh yes the 'Giddy Stratospheres' single is here from Sheffield's foxiest ladies and it's a bit of a catchy one. This is Brian's favorite Long Blondes track so please do the right thing. How tragic would it be to be killed by a pile of records he loves. Oh the irony. Sure this is radio friendly indie pop but there is an edge to it that makes it stand out from the rest. Perhaps it's the Blondie-isms. I dunno but I'd much rather be listening to this on mainstream radio than the likes of Just Jack (who suck beyond belief). You can buy all 3 formats for a measly £4.00 which is an absolute bargain like. Check the item page for the tracklisting. One 7" has a blue sleeve and the other a pink sleeve. So you can give the pink one to a girl or the blue one to a boy. If you're not into gender stereotyping you can do the opposite. All bases covered....

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
