Bloody hell! Another CLINIC single. Well i'm always enthralled to get these in my review pile. Like The Fall, always different, always the same. It's the cyclic nature of the tunes that draws you in like a big whirlpool of possessed twangy guitar & edgy chuntering vocals, driving bass & propulsive insistent percussion.. I think if you take the best of the psych garage gems of the 60s & catapult the whole mixing pot into the heads of some jaded scousers with a slightly psychotic bent then yr gonna get these, a band who in contemporary circles sound utterly unlike no other. Very pure, timeless Voodoo Motherfuckers. 7"/CDs on Domino
