The eagerly awaited DISTANCE debut long player for Planet MU drops this week. 'My Demons' has it's moments. Brooding digital future dub which makes me think of walking through post apocalyptic dark city streets late at night. Certainly more dub influenced than his earlier break-step tracks I reckon it's probably more suited to home 'session' type environments than a lot of his previous gear. The production is pristine with excellent use of delay throughout. The CD version includes grunge-step anthem 'Traffic' previously only available wax. Definitely a grower this one. The more you listen the more layers and subtle little tricks are revealed. Planet Mu seems to be signing / poaching dubstep artists left right and centre at the moment. The quality has been consistently high too. Keep 'em comin'.

*His new album "My Demons" is another leap ahead into uncharted dubstep
territory. Featuring all the dubs from the last year such as the long-awaited
"Night Vision" and "Tuning"; the haunting "Mistral" and the booming breaks
of "Weigh Down".
