The Hours - Back When You Were Good

Back When You Were Good by The Hours

3...according to our on Fri 26 Jan, 2007.

Now THE HOURS and 5 seconds in i'm hatin' it..(aren't we all) B-side first....ok here comes the beat and its like the Beatles.. 'tomorrow never knows' chips in Brian.. and that's about it really.. maybe its the reversed guitar and drums. Its not gone down well in the towers here as its like a rockier Embrace which is never that popular amongst these cynical tykes. I heard them on the radio too. Its all very polished, like a nice version of the Killers (what a fucking oxymoron x Brian). Very radio friendly and I can almost here the sickly gushings of Jo Whiley getting wet with mediocrity and pretty boy blandness. A-side's got violins on and is even more sweet. Out on A&M records and its called 'Back when you were good'

2nd single  from debut album out on 5/2.First strictly limited edition single 'Ali in the Jungle' was both Jo Whiley’s and Zane Lowe’s Single Of The Week - and was also track of the month in the Observer Music Monthly
