Led by Giulio Calvino (vocals, guitar), who formed the band with Nicola Zenone (bass) and Luca Fontaneto (drums), Hot Gossip are a power trio that are set to stun! Taking the skewed pop mentality of the likes of Brainiac, the furious delivery of the likes of the Blood Brothers and creating an exhilarating sound of their own, encompassed in one perfectly formed album ‘Angles’. Starting out life in the back streets of Milan the band quickly realised they had a collective aim of playing blistering rock n roll and released their debut single “Stab City” (Ghost Records) in 2005. Having gained critical acclaim with three short but nonetheless explosive tracks the band toured relentlessly including dates in the UK. The band finally entered La Sauna Recording Studio in Varese, Italy to record their debut “Angles” during 10 freezing days in January 2006. Bassist Nicola Zenone was replaced by Sergio Maggioni in December 2006. This is pop music, this is hardcore and this is relentless. For fans of: GSL label, Blood Brothers, Touch And Go Records etc…
