Now "the saviour of independent music" BOBBY COOK on Slogan with not an instantly catchy song..Geezers got quite a nice voice though a bit STARSAILOR. For such impressive reviews I was expecting something more dramatic but its actually quite laid back say Chris Isaac or something. Nice enough and if you believe the press this could be an investment as its pretty limited 7". Phil's thinking a bit like James or The Gullimots. Lots of different influences but it ain't sounding that unique to me. We shall see!! Nice.... like a milky tea with a digestive biscuitBOBBY COOK IS QUITE SIMPLY THE HOTTEST NEW INDIE ROCK ACT IN TOWN. A DREAMY SONGWRITER WITH A BACKING BAND FROM THE GODS, BOBBY’S BEGUILING TRACKS HAVE DAZZLED BOTH DIEHARD INDIE FANS AND THE WHOLE ANR COMMUNITY OF LONDON. IT WILL DEFINITELY BE WORTH KEEPING A COPY OF THIS RARE RECORD SAFE WITH YOUR MOST VALUABLE POSSESSIONS – BOBBY COOK IS GOING TO BE A BIG STAR.
