Another of last years buzz acts was the intriguing Lahndan pop monkey JAMIE T. Honestly, he sounds like a white indie Dizzee Rascal on his fine debut LP, 'Panic Prevention'. He's got cheek & soul. He's this years Tom Vek (a hugely creative musical magpie, very of the moment). Another of those genre straddling pop mavericks with a pulsing, warm DIY feel, I heard 'Salvador' on the radio & absolutely loved it's rattling, carefree pop majesty. He does occasionally sound like he's singing through a mouth full of marbles but his talent is making lolloping, streetwise pop music with myriad hooks & a warm, approachable attitude. He's certainly got that hip Artful Dodger vibe down to a tee. Half Docherty, half Lily Allen with a healthy streak of Plan B. These are original, fresh as fuck tunes to make you chuffed to be alive! LP/CD on Virgin"Panic Prevention" is the debut album by Wimbledon rascal Jamie T who is touring the UK throughout January. The album is preceded by the single 'Calm Down Dearest' and features the previous hit singles 'Sheila' and 'If You Got The Money'.
