Blown Paper Bags - Arm Your Cameras

Arm Your Cameras by Blown Paper Bags

We got like, eight different releases for you on Italian label Suiteside this week so we're all gonna review a couple each. Coorr! This BLOWN PAPER BAGS 'Arm Your Cameras' CD is bursting with energy. Lots of melodic analogue synths, real drums, drum machines, guitars, boy / girl vocals and lots of effects thrown into the mix. The arrangements can be chaotic and switch from electro into cacophonous alternative rock and back again. There are plenty of subtle little electronic bleeps and odd noises happening to keep it interesting. Lots going on here, a very rich, dense sound indeed. Totally all over the place and each song is different which ultimately makes this extremely difficult to pigeon hole which can only ever be a good thing.
