Ghost - In Stormy Nights

In Stormy Nights by Ghost

Phil here kranking it up with the long awaited new GHOST album. In Stormy Nights is out on Drag City on CD and 2LP if you're interested in the details side of things.... If not then you'll probably want to know what it sounds like? It started off very gentle indeed and within no time it's gone into weird distorted psyched out fuzz noise which didn't actually bother me. What did bother me was the wanky guitar in it.... made me want to buy a guitar, fly over to Japan and smash it over their mushroom addled heads. If you can detune yourself to the screeching 6 stringed instrument of death then you'll be pleased to know this is actually a bit good. Most transcendental and noisy though it's not as mantra ish as previous releases. A worthy purchase though. God bless the Japanese.... just don't give them guitars....
