MULE DRIVER has a lovely 3" Cds out on Israel's AK Duck Records called 'The Models EP'. It's in a little cloth sleeve and it comes with a badge and some bits of card and that. Musically it's nice minimal electronic stuff with a bit of a Western theme. About time westerns and electronics were mixed up together! It's lush sounding stuff indeed and heartily recommended!Mule Driverr (Ak Duck, The Models) delivers his dreamiest release to date. He creates a lush pool of analog sounds that bring to mind early/ naive BBC Workshop themes & the mental synth constructions/ stretches of newly discovered/ late 70's maestro, Edmond De Dyster. The e.p is based on the theme of the 50's western "The Proud Ones". "Mule" revisited / reconstructed the touching, nostalgic theme making it his own - 4 variation that work separately and as one circular - hypnotic journey. Recorded during the summer of 2006. Super Ltd. Edition 3" inch - comes in a hand made cloth pouch with 2 cards.
