Oh & Feeble Parakeet also give us the DEAD KIDS which is much, much better. I can cope with the proper Cockney vocals (more Steve Ignorant than Johnny Rotten) because the tune is actually really cool in an 'LSF' by Kasabian fashion. They're not the awful dated baggy indierock proposition I expected but instead offer a hypnotic & sublime take on edgy indie, layering the repetitive groove (strummed guitar & subtle organ) with lots of distorted noise box splutterings Wolf Eyes would approve of. The flip spills with drone & repetition too, relying on a wall of meshed guitars that hark back to a chiming, fuzzed up age when indie music actually too you somewhere.
