What we say This record left our Phil feeling happy. I do have an enormous soft spot for THE YOUNG KNIVES. Out of the millions of indie bands that come and go each week these are really special to me. The album is just so good. Anyway The Decision has been re released on 3 formats (2 x 7" and CD) with brand new sparkly B sides and new artwork. They've ditched the Morris dancers on the covers in favour of some old jogger in saggy pants. Class. I love this song and in case you don't know what they sound like it's pretty much exactly like XTC used to sound. Perfect pop music which is so British sounding, it's like the queen farted it. Marvellous.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
