For the life of me I can't pronounce THE SEAL CUB CLUBBING CLUB. Everytime I get the cub in the wrong place.... too many similar sounding words. It's also conspicuously missing from the record sleeve. Perhaps someone thinks it could be a tad bit offensive? Musically I've no idea where to start. It's indie music of sorts.... am struggling with this one. It's not awful but I don't like it one bit.... The sleeve is pretty cool though with a sexy rabbit/deer thing (that probably sounds all wrong but it I'm not weird... honest...)...according to James Murphy.
Instantly palatable tracks like this should be on every play list in the country! This is what Liverpool is famous for! Finally a band that sticks out in a crowd of mediocrity and shows what rock and roll is all about. All on their own terms I may add, and how accomplished this track really is, fusing funk and grunge in such a form that you can't help but become lost in glovers vocal prowess! Just can't wait for the album!
