Grandaddy - Elevate Myself

Elevate Myself by Grandaddy

4...according to our on Sat 18 Nov, 2006.

Grandaddy have had a bit of a revival of late. It is a little late though seeing as though they've split up. I suspect they're already planning reforming in 10 years time and the gigs are already booked..... Ouch.... The album after the Sophtware Slump was dreadful. I've ever forgotten what it was called. Clearly I've blanked it out it was that bad... The latest album (Just Like The Fambly Cat) was rather good we thought. Certainly no Sophtware Slump but compared to that last load of cacka it was a remarkable improvement. The new single called Elevate Myself is a typical affair with all the trademark Grandaddy synth wooshes, quirky yet gentle vocals and a plodding yet bouncy beat (ala drum machine). Not half bad at all. Limited 7" only job (isn't thing these days...).
