A 10" EP on new label Black Light records arrived this week by EAR & DARK. 'There's No Such Thing As Dragons' has some nice scratchy guitar sounds and jerky stop start rhythms that immediately bring The Jesus Lizard to mind. In other places I'm reminded of P.I.L Well produced, intense punk rock with attitude and energy. This lot know how to make a good old racket. Rock on......according to Lars Dideriksen.
This record is fantastic. So energetic. Rhythms change all over the place and vocals screaming....remind me a bit of The Pixies... but just put in a kind of punked mathrock context. Don't know what to say... other than it's great! Sounds... www.myspace.com/eardark
