BRAIN DONOR have a new album as well this week. There's always so much out eh? Hilariously titled Drain'd Bonor you know you're in for a treat. Julian Cope is a god to many folks and I've rarely "got" his music as such but I do like a lot of the music he champions. Here we have some psych prog metal which doesn't sound enormously appealing but it is actually quite entertaining. It's got balls though.... I'll give it that. Big balls... hairy balls and more importantly lots and lots of balls. There's some quality riffage on this beast as well as some impressive stickmanship (drumming... not drawing stick men).
