One of my favourite things this week is a 15 year old single which we've only just got in for the 1st time. Had it not been 15 years old (ie not a new release) I'd have quite happily given it single of the week. I am referring to THEE HEADCOATEES 7" of Fish Pie/ Cum Into My Mouth. If the title doesn't give you some kind of clue, this is indeed a record of much sauce. It's cocking filthy in fact. I got this years ago when it came out and it always appealed to me for all the wrong reasons. The A side is a bawdy dixieland jazz thing with some very wrong lyrics about fish pie... I'll leave that one there. The flipside is a cover of Come Into My Life (a Billy Childish tune he's done in most of his guises) but retitled 'cum into my mouth'. Quite possibly the most explicit lyrics I've ever heard before on most definitely something which will appeal to men for all the wrong reasons - though musically it's a top slice of 60's garage rock.
