The TOM BURBANK 'Famous First Words' CD scores highly too. A refreshing collection of intelligent breaks & eclectic delights. The opener is like Prefuse 73 having a scrap with Wagon Christ. Ant is reminded of that ace Ra album from a couple of years ago. Atmospheric avant hip hop inspired gear with a jazzy, funky edge, some distorted R'n' B stuff in there too. Quite Prince-like infact on 'Gnats', a strutting peacock of a tune. One is reminded of a certain mr Kaman Leung who 2 people in the world have heard of or something. How esoterical.
