This record left Nathon feeling ecstatic.
The BJM being the BJM...doing what they want, even if that means playing just two chords for over thirteen minutes on an acoustic guitar while singing about some farmboy killing his parents. Whether 'Arkansas Revisited' really was co-written by Charles Manson is, let's face it, doubtful. But it's evil - in a good way - nonetheless.
But the standout track is 'All Things Great And Small', which deals in that somewhat under-appreciated sub-genre that the BJM do so well - quiet, haunted songs influenced by classical guitar music. It's still got yer normal Anton Newcombe madness, naturally.
