Fuxa - Electric Sound of Summer

Electric Sound of Summer by Fuxa

4...according to our on Wed 15 Nov, 2006.

Also just arrived is a clear / colour splatterd vinyl 7" from the ever reliable Static Caravan camp. This one is by FUXA and it's somewhat of a change of direction for them from their drifty ambient space rock style. 'Electric Sound Of Summer' is a sleazy late night breakbeat track, with flugalhorn, that makes me think of walking into a strip club full of smoke kitted out in huge burgundy velvet curtains and full of whaked out alcoholic types. A super chilled and atmospheric track that sounds like it could have come out on Mo' Wax some years ago. You'll be wanting to fire up a big Arnold Schwazenegger cigar listening to this. 'Thank You Jesus' on the AA side is a sublime Piano piece. Proper pipe and slippers gear. We got these late due to an error at the distro...whoops they did it again.
