What a great thing this is. This is a double album of sheer awkward joy. Apparently LEOPARD LEG are a horror drum unit and T.I.T.S. are a witch psych project. Each band have their own record in this double disc set and the LEOPARD LEG green vinyl album is called The Seven Sistered Sea Secret of Shh Shh Shh. It's an uncomfortable ride through tribal times with caterwauling banshees copulating with The Butthole Surfers after a night of the strongest acid known to man. Flip the record over to get something that Sir Richard Bishop may have picked up from one of his many jouneys documenting tribal folk sounds from around the world. There's something about it that's utterly mesmerizing. But wait... there is more! T.I.T.S.' white vinyl contribution to this fun beast is called Throughout The Ages. This is a noisy affair sounding a bit like Unsane or Lightning Bolt without the screaming vocals. It's right proper skronky. The chugging noise is punctuated by the girls chanting some nonsense or other. The flipside is more skronky, wonky, noisy as chuff chanting evil. This is not just album of the week. It's the evil album of the week. We've just stuck the pic of the LEOPARD LEG side up there but the T.I.T.S. side is equally fantastic. We all recommend this and I'm pretty sure no one else will which is a shame..... One for you noisy adventurous types....according to Damian Docherty.
Beautiful, hypnotic, comforting, odd and a little scary. If this LP was a film, it would be a remake the Wicker Man directed by David Lynch.
