Yank indie hopefuls The Strokes have their new single out called 'Juicebox' & It's a mad, bad & dangerous piece of work. There's a kinda Jesus Lizard twang to it believe it or not (ok, a kinderlizard then...) but all the hallmarks so beloved of this NY 5 piece are intact such as that irresistible rush of adrenaline & the howling vocals wrapped around an addictive tune It's got a more hi-fi production this time but the band sound on fire. Really looking forward to the new album I'll say. On 7" & 2 x CDs on Rough TradeBe the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
