July Skies
Where the Days Go

This record left our Phil feeling happy.
JULY SKIES have a new album out on Make Mine Music. I stuck this on yesterday and the boys groaned and moaned like I'd undressed them and given them sandpaper outfits to wear again. I think it was too relaxing and nice for 'em.... They are a pair of angry young tykes though. 'Where The Days Go' is a very quiet and calming affair. It's like someone rubbing cotton wool on your ears for an hour before you fall asleep on your velvet pillows. This is seriously gentle and floaty. For fans of Yellow 6 and Portal etc. I think it's well lush but then I'm getting old and I like it a bit quiet these days....

What their label says...
Where the Days Go is a 19 track assortment of music, collecting together a US radio session, unreleased material, ep tracks and epic45 reworkings ~ prior to the release of the July Skies album ˜The Weather Clock" in the English Winter of 2006/7.
Musically the collection is anchored in the haze of a 1950/60s countryside; lost summers of youth and fractured memories of better days. A Perfect companion to see you through the remaining lazy days of summer.
