The radio friendly indie of MIGHTY SIX NINETY has morphed into a hugely commercial force that reminds me of listening to the charts in the 80's. Think The Killers crossed with Aztec Camera circa '88. 'Keeping You in Mind' is a hunk of really well rounded perfect sing-a-longa pop with massively catchy hooks & everything in the right place. It's commercial appeal will have them on TOTP one day when it's re-issued on a big major. It really is that accessible. Not my thing personally but how you can slag off a song so optimistic & sunny I dunno? On no'd gatefold blue vinyl with great artwork & hilarious pop biography top trumps in the centrefold. There's only 750 hand no'd copies of this & if you collect the KIDS label then you need this cos this is the follow up to The Wombats.Be the first to review this record.
