There is lots of interesting stuff coming out of Scandinavia at the moment. Next is the debut album from Swedish producers Fontan. 'Aktionskammarn' is an eclectic mix of styles to say the least. Fusing analogue and digital sounds that range from straight up pop to electronica. Taking in a whole range of influences from Lounge, Jazz, classical, blues and country. This album cleverly blends almost every genre imaginable into an album that's coherent and works very well indeed. With all this going on you'd expect an album that sounded muddled and difficult and yet it's really quite accessible. It also features the vocal talents of Sarah Assbring from EL Perro Del Mar.
