And onto NATIONAL PARK who have a new single out on Yield Recordings. They released a 10" on Earworm about 5-6 years ago (maybe) and we haven't heard from 'em since. Wonder what they've been doing? Probably normal things I suspect like what everyone else does..... washing, eating, lavvy, working and that (though not in that order).. This new single called The Only Stars has shades of Velvet Underground and Byrds about it and it's lovely fuzzy 60's sounding (yet modern) pop. It also features 'jazz outsider' Bill Wells on his tinkly ivories. Christ on a bike. Did you know jazz is the best form of contraception?
