Finally, from me I'm gonna tell you about this 4 way split CD between LOPE, YELLOW 6, ABSENT WITHOUT LEAVE & KIMONOPHONIC. Nice hazy slide guitar over pulsing atmospherics & downtempo beats, drifting keys & spacial ambience & lastly twinkling beauty meets wandering ambience by way of glitched half beats from Lope, Yellow 6 need no introduction. Glacial chamber electronics & looped guitar effects creating some absorbing beauty that doesn't dissapoint, AWL does the crackly lo-fi ambient thing, like emotive ambient drones from a sea shell fed through a laptop. Darn nice! Kimonophonic lastly gives us some eerie DIY pulses & tones, chattering crowd samples with some lovely pulsing percussive action & possessed chinese water music loops & much more.
