The Hidden Cameras - Ecce Homo

Ecce Homo by The Hidden Cameras

4...according to our on Thu 16 Nov, 2006.

The Hidden Cameras seem to have been totally adopted by Earworm, a label that seems to exist these days purely to release startling limited runs & demos of semi famous cult bands. This big fat 12" picture disc album ('Ecce Homo' - 4 track recordings) has a mad as badgers picture of a cow on it. Singer Joel Gibb explores the battles between being randy as hell & religious as heaven. He can't get willies out of his head. Or Jesus. I think he might wanna GASP!!! DO Jesus!!! Oh my gawd! You naughty boy! You just can't!!! Put it away!! So gay Christian indie rock with hints of early REM, Belle & Sebastian & a hell of a lot of lo-fi shambolic New Zealand pop. Numbered & ltd of 650 this is gonna fly out of here like the pope with BSE so get on it dudes (just don't get jiggy with Jesus!)
