An odd one here and it took me ages to work out who it's by and if it's wrong then I'm sorry. I think it's by Hamilton Yarns and it's called The Showboat Over. In fact after a quick search on the net I can see that I am in fact right. Also they've had 5 previous musical outings which surprised me cos I've never heard of 'em before. The Shop Boat Over is a load of minimal twinks and twonks, plinks and plonks with horns, oboes, pianos and all kinds of fun. It sounds like it's improvised though I'm not sure how much of it is as there's structure there..... It's very strange and shambling discordant acoustic music and I can't possibly thinks of any comparisons cos it's out there on its own. I suspect if you liked some of the weird Mount Eerie/ Microphones stuff you may like this. Kicking.... 500 only on LP.Be the first to review this record.
