Sarah Nixey of Black Box Recorder has a mature electro pop single out somewhere between Goldfrapp & Annie entitled 'Strangelove'. I'd possibly hate it if I hadn't spent the last 5 years gazing at her feral form on the sleeves of her previous bands records. Therefore it gets deviant single of the week from luststruck ol' me.....better not let our lass see this....The CD remix by Comma of strummy flip 'The Collector' (more like Goldfrapp-esque dramatic pop on the 7") is loads better, all Kate Bush, Regina Spector, Tori Amos - rolling piano & brooding neo classical drama over subtle percussion. Really can't be flipped with the other remixes. That's all you need to know except there's no photos of her in a swimsuit on this one. Rats.......Be the first to review this record.
