Jennifer Gentle are some Italian dudes with a fixation for Syd Barrett. Sub Pop signed 'em in their infinte wisdom a while back for a storming album of psych pop and now we've got a new album in on A Silent Place called Sacramento Session/ 5 of 3. Side 1 is quite like the Eraserhead soundtrack... ie dark ambience but made with instruments creating drones and whatdocalledits. For fans of noise but mellow noise.....The flipside is more familiar territory with a long drawn out 60's psych sounding track... kind of like Interstellar Overdrive (by Pink Floyd) but on mogodon..... red vinyl edition of 650 copies... very sexy....Be the first to review this record.
