Something To Bang

This record left our Phil feeling unmoved.

Brand new Absentee single on the usually savvy Memphis Industries. I can't see the fuss with this band. The singer reminds me of Chris Rea which is a bad bad thing. In fact I can't think of a worse thing than Chris Rea to be honest. Funnily enough I was round at my fathers a while back and he always tries to upset me with his music and he played a Chris Rea album followed by a Bee Gees album. I remained unphased saying "each to their own" regularly as he looked at me for signs of twitching. This is no where near as bad as that. It's average guitar indie pop/ rock with a horn section and some dude with a deep voice that happens to sound a lot like Chris Rea.
