Global Goon. Another Rephlex casualty. This is the more playful end of the "braindance" baton, conjuring up images of Luke Vibert but without the comedy IDM suit & REALLY ANNOYING sounds (I'm sorry Luke but Rich stripped them tin mines years ago of all the best acid & you know it....) A whole new mini LP on WeMe (A subsidiary of Mewe Le disque) called 'Bessemer Cocktail' & It's accessible to the hilt, coming atcha like a Granny friendly hybrid of Cylob & maybe Bogdan when he's in a good mood. Could honestly draw some serious parallels with the aforementioned Analord series in spots, albeit not as analogue. The tunes are proper quality, playful, warm & full of vibrancy & fun so we give this honoury dance record of the week cos AFX gets 'nuff praise.Be the first to review this record.
