Speaking of Radiohead this rather fantastic Fourplay String Orchestra CD we just got in from Australia has a cover of 2+2=4. It's called Now To The Future and it's a a string quartet playing some of their own compositions and a few covers by the likes of The Strokes, Miles Davis, Charlie Mingus and Radiohead. It's pretty much instrumental aside from the odd track here and there. I love strings me... they make me weep. I saw Max Richter live a while back and that made me weep (I'm a man... I can admit it...). Strings rock anyway.... add some piano and you'll need hundreds of buckets around you to collect the watery seepage. Unfortunately this album has no piano but there are some blinding string moments on there which would appeal to you who enjoy the heart tugging effects of Yann Tiersen's music. Noice and a total bloinder!Be the first to review this record. Best reviewer each month gets £10 off their next order!
