About 250000 of you bought that last Sufjan Stevens album. Consequently if you want him to play at your party you'll need to mortgage your house just to get him to knock at the front door and even then there's no promise he'll bring his guitar. In the absence of a new album Rough Trade and Asthmatic Kitty have teamed together to bring us an album called The Avalanche which comprises of out takes and extras from the Illinois album. 21 tracks which weren't good enough to be included on the original album. What's that smell??? Can you smell it???..... I smell a cash in.... However if you're a fan you'll be so excited by this (and it does work surprisingly well) that you'll want to take this multi instrumental uber talented banjo playing funster's new cash in album home with you. Spiffing.
