Vocoder's 'Deja vu' on Teenage Jesus Records is an honest little DIY lo-fi indie CD. The girls voice is quite sweet and Brian says she reminds him a little of Lois Maffeo. There's almost a fragile pop feel to some of the tracks albeit sounding like it was recorded in a bedroom. This reminds me a bit of Kimya Dawson and will no doubt go down well with fans of K records and that kind of stuff.Be the first to review this record.
