Various- Fight Club EP on Tigerbeat 6. Features all yr fave T6 stars all remixing each other. If I had more time I'd list 'em all. Needless to say it's one big incestuous love fest electronic orgy of filth and depravity. Actually it's electronic music like the label used to do with a killer Knifehandchop gabba track on there. Nice....FIGHT CLUB combines the best elements of a great mix tape with the intimate knowledge of an international scene forcefully coming into its own. Featuring some of the best work to date by all the artists involved, the beat-centric Fight Club stands out as a hyperactive take on a classic dub directory, pounded out by producers raised on the loud-fast-rules ethos.
Dark, contemplative and consistently driving, contributors (KID606, Austin indietronics up-and-comers STARS AS EYES, carpetbomb and worm interface veteran ADRIEN 75, IDM virtuoso LUSINE ICL of hymen and isophlux fame, San Francisco laptop hero LESSER, canadian gabba/ragga god KNIFEHANDCHOP, the mysterious MECCAKNIFEHANDCHOP, japanese electronica smart alec COM.A (ex rom=pari), GAMERS IN EXILE from unbearable recordings, and gold toothed DC PC afficionado CEX) bang out a twenty nine-minute EP of totally over the top digipunk dynamics, subtle ebbs, and dramatic flows.
