 This record left our Brian feeling ecstatic.
I've been bleating about Blood On The Wall for years now. No bugger listened. Now
Fat Cat
have picked them up for a 7" called 'Reunite On Ice' & this feral
brother/sister led crew may now reach the ears of the folk who need to
absorb their lo-fi stoner take on bendy gutter pop & sinister
discordant indie rock. They remind me in parts of an old Leeds crew,
Dustdevils, crossed with a slower Drive Like Jehu. A cynic would say
Sonic Youth. Hello Phil. Well actually he's right. But considering Sonic Youth
have right mellowed these days this fantastically grubby, skewed 7"
needs to be in your collection RIGHT NOW. Single of the week or I'm
Ronaldo.
