This record left our Ant feeling happy.
Also we have the Drop The Lime Refixed 12" which features refixes by Kid 606, Eats Tapes, Gold Chains, Original Hamster and Soft Pink Truth. Kid 606 goes straight for the jugular with some twisted acid and uptempo beats. All the artists manage to give the tracks their own sound, none of them really sounding anything like the ferocious Drop The Lime. Sound. vocals feature heavily throughout and although there's plenty of laptop trickery they don't go too mental and retain the dancefloor groove. Oh and kid 606's 'Done with The Scene' is finally out on vinyl and features those tasty Mogwai and Dwayne Sodahberk remixes.

The best tracks from Luca Venezia's (aka Drop the Lime's) debut album given the proper dance or die funky techno treatment by today's most interesting techno, acid and house producers. Kid606 turns "Shaken" into a writhing dual 303 acid track; Eats Tapes pitch down the vocals and make a serious bootybass bouncer; Soft Pink Truth replaces all the vocals but keeps the same lyrics on the most disco-friendly remix; while Gold Chains and Original Hamster mainpulate the originals into their own unique styles.
