What we say This record left our Ant feeling ecstatic. 'Walkin' With Jah' is more of the same really with the tempo upped slightly 'Earth A Run Red' is slower with that squelchy dub skank. Imagine dancing in a big pool of syryp with a big fat reefer in your hand. Sloooww. If you know their sound then you know what to expect really but they seem to have pulled their socks up somewhat and are getting better at what they do. What the label says: Originally released on Soul Jazz Records on the same day in 2006, these two 12”s have since been fetching over £50 on ebay making them two of the most-in demand Dubstep singles around. This is a one-off repressing so if you haven’t got one, get it now. Limited to 500 copies only.

About the humble 12":

The 12" is the big brother of records as it's an fatter version of the 7", with a vast scope for an array of remixes and B sides. They are slightly less portable their smaller inched brethren but they're by no means inferior. Often the grooves are spaced wider apart and thus sound much much better. You can fit ample tracks on and if worse comes to worse they make fine plates (should your crockery go awol). Yes, there's a hole but holes are easy to sort out. Once again they're available on many different colours and guises. The best thing about a 12" is the potential vastness of the artwork. Also playable on many speeds!!
