Another interesting one this week comes from one Jorgen Knudsen. This Norweien composer was one half of Information who had releases on Rune Grammofon. This album really has lots going on, acoustic bits, field recordings and found sounds from around the globe. The production quality is really outstanding, there are strange voices and sounds creeping in all over the place and the overall effect is really surreal indeed. In fact I'm lost for words to describe this, highly inventive and incomparable to anything else I've heard recently. Top marks from me, oh and the photography on the sleeve is really beautiful. This was recorded by a Norwegian in Thailand and then released on Ukranian label Quasi Pop. Erm did I mention that it's called 'Wealth'?Be the first to review this record.
