What we say This record left our MAGGIE feeling unmoved. Now I have The Bishops new 7" on 1234 records. Saw these cheeky chaps live and it was like being in the Cavern all over again. Not the one when Jesus (or someone like that) hid from the Romans .... The Beatles man!! (said in New York accent)... It irritated me at the time actually... they even had the shaky mop tops and practiced bows. I know its not a bad band to rip off. It made Paul 800 million quid (soon to be reduced) so they're probably on the right track. Clever London impressionists.. oh the music.. yeh quite catchy jangly with close harmonies..... like.. you guessed it.. (the early 'please please me' era.)

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
