Remember Don Caballero? Them were the days.... Running around in long shorts (or short trousers) wearing a Helmet T and looking generally unkempt everywhere. Well The Don are back. The kings of irregular time changes and all things angular have a new album out on Relapse records. The CD came out a week or 2 ago but seeing as though the vinyl is here now we thought we'd review it. Noisy post rock leaping all over the place from segment to segment making you wonder 2 things. How they composed it and how did they then play it?? It's like a heavier Battles for want of an easy lazy comparison and one some of you may have heard of. And as one of the Don are summat to do with Battles this suddenly fits into place nicely like a 2 piece jigsaw. Quality.Be the first to review this record.
