You have to respect Mudhoney, they've been at it a while. They were at it long before the 'Grunge' explosion of the 90's and are still around long after. They've always just done their thing really and always done it really well. 'It Is Us' is no exception, its really quite catchy . The flip has a blues influence in there and has some additional horns which surprisingly work well. This is probably not going to win them any new fans but longtime fans in plaid shirts with greasy long hair and collectors will lap it up like flies on doo-doo.
